From London by train

There are two train lines that run into Oxford; the faster (and more expensive) GWR line that goes from London Paddington to Oxford in 60 minutes, or the slower (but cheaper) Chiltern Railways line that goes from London Marylebone to Oxford in 90 minutes.

Do note that the Eurostar arrives in to London St Pancras, so you will need to take a trip on the London Underground to get to Paddington or Marylebone

From Oxford station get the S2, S3, or S3A busses from Stop R4 at the station, and get off at Osberton Road, just outside the school.

From London by the Oxford Tube bus

Alternatively the Oxford Tube bus runs every 20 minutes or so at peak times from Victoria Coach station, also stopping at Marble Arch and Notting Hill Gate. This is often cheaper than the train, but does take longer.

Once you arrive at Gloucester Green Bus station get on any of the 6, 300, ST2, or X52 busses at George Street Stop A5, just outside the bus station, and get off at South Parade West, just outside the School.

From Heathrow or Gatwick Airports

The Airline Bus goes directly from Gatwick and Heathrow Airports to Gloucester Green Bus station in central Oxford. From here, get on any of the 6, 300, ST2, or X52 busses at George Street Stop A5, just outside the bus station, and get off at South Parade West, just outside the School.

From Luton Airport

Take the DART shuttle from the airport to Luton Airport Parkway, and then the Thameslink in to London St Pancras, then follow the directions to get here from London by Train.

Alternatively the National Express 737 bus goes direct from Luton Airport to Gloucester Green Bus station in central Oxford in 2 hours. From here, get on any of the 6, 300, ST2, or X52 busses at George Street Stop A5, just outside the bus station, and get off at South Parade West, just outside the School. It is worth noting that this bus is not very frequent.

From Stansted Airport

Take the Stansted Airport Express to London Liverpool street, then get on the tube and follow the directions to get here from London by Train.

Alternatively the National Express 737 bus goes direct from Stansted Airport to Gloucester Green Bus station in central Oxford, but it does take 4 hours, and is not an experience we can recommend!

From Birmingham Airport

Take the free Air-Rail monorail from Birmingham airport to Birmingham International station. Then take a direct train from Birmingham International to Oxford station, which takes 70 minutes. These trains are operated by Cross Country and usually run once an hour.

From Oxford station get the S2, S3, or S3A busses from Stop R4 at the station, and get off at Osberton Road, just outside the school.

Getting here by coach

There are a number of other bus routes run by National Express and Flixbus, so it may be worth checking these out if they are convenient for you.

The coaches arrive at Gloucester Green Bus station in central Oxford. From here, get on any of the 6, 300, ST2, or X52 busses at George Street Stop A5, just outside the bus station, and get off at South Parade West, just outside the School.

Getting here by car

Driving in Oxford is not straightforward. You can’t drive through the centre of Oxford, as there are lots of pedestrian and bus only roads, the City Council have recently introduced traffic filters (unhelpfully marked ‘gates’ that will get you a £70 fine if you drive through one).

If you are driving, we recommend you arrive from the North using the A4144, as this will help you to avoid any fines.
